Delete your data

You have full control over your data. Learn how to delete your RupeeTracker account and all associated information.

How to delete your data

Choose the method that works best for you. All methods result in complete and permanent deletion of your account and data.

Fastest

Delete from within the app

The quickest way. Your account and all data are deleted immediately.

  1. Sign in to RupeeTracker
  2. Go to Profile (top-right menu)
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  4. Enter the OTP sent to your email to confirm
  5. Your account and all data are permanently deleted

Request deletion by email

Send us an email from the address registered to your account and we will delete your data within 7 business days.

  1. Send an email to support@rupeetracker.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the email address registered to your account
  4. We will confirm deletion within 7 business days

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:

  • Your account details — name, email address, date of birth
  • All investment records you created — amounts, rates, maturity dates, notes
  • Your portfolio history and health score data
  • Your session and login history
  • Any social login links (Google, Facebook) associated with your account
  • All preferences and settings

What is retained temporarily

A small amount of anonymised data may be retained for a short period:

  • Server logs — anonymised access logs may be retained for up to 30 days for security purposes. These logs do not contain your investment data.
  • Email records — our email delivery provider (Resend) may retain delivery logs for up to 30 days. These contain only your email address and delivery status.

Facebook-connected accounts

If you signed up using Facebook Login, deleting your RupeeTracker account removes all data we hold about you. It does not delete your Facebook account.

To also remove RupeeTracker's access from your Facebook account, go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites and remove RupeeTracker from the list.

Google-connected accounts

If you signed up using Google Sign-In, deleting your RupeeTracker account removes all data we hold about you. It does not delete your Google account.

To also revoke RupeeTracker's access from your Google account, go to Google Account → Third-party apps with account access and remove RupeeTracker.
